BPIRF 2025 Scholarship Recipients
DENVER - MLK RODEO
Haley Mason - Denver Regional Scholarship Award. $1,500. She did her
pre-recs at Hill Junior College and is attending Chamberlain University to complete
her clinicals as she pursues a degree in nursing science.
Savannah Roberts - Lu Vason Founders Scholarship Award. $2,000.
Savannah will attend South Plains College with a major in Animal Science and
Agricultural Business.
Jordyn Love - Lu Vason Founders Scholarship Award. $2,000. Jordyn is
a Sophomore student at Fort Valley State University pursuing her degree in
Animal Science. She currently has a 4.0 GPA and is in the honors program.
MEMPHIS, TN
Morgan Houston - Memphis Regional BPIR $1,500. Morgan is currently pursuing
her degree in Animal & Dairy Science with a Pre-Veterinary concentration at
Mississippi State University. She is a dedicated member of the university’s
Equestrian Team and Pre-Vet Club, and she also devotes her time to local animal
shelters and community service.
FORT WORTH, TX
Trinity Harris, Fort Worth, Texas, Regional Scholarship Award for $1,500.
Trinity is currently enrolled at Howard University in Washington, D.C. Trinity is
working on her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She currently has a 3.57
GPA, is a member of the African American Awareness Club, a political and
community service organization.
OKLAND, CALIFORNIA.
Sydney Scott, Oakland, California, Regional Scholarship Award for $1,500.
Sydney is currently enrolled at UC Santa Barbara in Santa Barbara, CA.
Sydney is working on her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology & Brain
Sciences.
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
London Gladney, Los Angeles, California, Regional Scholarship Award
for $1,500. London is currently enrolled at Prairie View A & M University in
Houston, Texas. London is working on her Bachelor of Science Degree in
Agribusiness.
ATLANTA, GA
Special Scholarship Award sponsored by Atlanta’s esteemed attorney L. Chris Stewart and his wife, Canicka Stewart.
The award was presented to Ms. Kai Ture with an Award of $2,000. Kai will
begin her College Studies this fall and is currently enrolled at
Hampton University, in Hampton, Virginia. Kai will begin work on her
Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with a minor in Leadership
Studies.
Jabari Crosby, Atlanta, Georgia, Atlanta Regional Scholarship
Award for $1,500. Jabari is currently enrolled at Tuskegee University
in Tuskegee, Alabama. Jabari is working on his Bachelor of Science
Degree in Animal Science & Agriculture Science, with hopes to one
day become a Veterinarian.
